Gabriela Palacio is the new Miss Mexico World 2011

Gabriela Palacio is the new Miss Mexico World 2011/Miss Mundo Mexico 2011/Nuestra Belleza Mundo México 2011.

According to Lupita Jones, the head of Nuestra Belleza México Organization, Gabriela Palacio Díaz has been selected to represent Mexico in Miss World 2011. Palacio is the firt runner-up to Cynthia de la Vega, who was dethroned recently. Palacio from Aguascalientes is 21 year old and stands 1.79 m. She represented Mexico in Miss International 2010 in Chengdu, China and won the Miss Photogenic Award.

Once again, in the said press conference, Lupita Jones said Cynthia de la Vega was dethroned not because of her weight but because of her lack of discipline and her inability to commit a serious job – representing Mexico in Miss World 2011 Pageant.

21-year old Sandra Hamad, from Copenhagen, was elected Miss Universe Denmark 2011 on August 2nd. Sandra, who stands 1.75 m tall, will now represent the Scandinavian country at the Miss Universe 2011 pageant in Sao Paulo, Brazil, next September.

Sandra born to Iraqi and Bulgarian parents, grow up in Denmark and speaks Arabic, Bulgarian, Danish and English. She competed in the Miss Supranational 2010 contest in Poland.

She took up modelling to earn money while studying for a degree in sociology at the Bangalore University.After modelling in India for several years, she began her international career in 2006. Following Mario's lead, Aubrey O'Day has lowered the bar even further!

The former Danity Kane lead singer and attention whore, who we last heard from in 2009, will star on her own show on Oxygen, The Aubrey O'Day Project.

According to Perez Hilton, the show will follow Aubrey as she desperately tries to find her way back into the music industry while "working with a dedicated team of industry professionals." By professionals, they likely mean porn producers.
Amy Introcaso-Davis, Senior VP of Original Programming and Development over at Oxygen, has high hopes for this riveting new show, saying:
