Amanda Ray Beard best known as Amanda Beard was born October 29, 1981 (star sign: Scorpio) at her hometown in Newport Beach, California (CA), United State of America (U.S.A.). Amanda Beard is a beautiful American female athlete, Olympic-level swimmer, female (fashion) model, swim star, Top 22 Sexiest Women in Sport, and women celebrity. She has a hair colour: dark brown, eyes colour: blue, height: 1.72 m (5 ft 7+1⁄2 in), and hobbies: race car driving. Amanda Beard is a vegetarian. Amanda Beard is married to a photographer Sacha Brown. Their first child a boy, named Blaise Ray Brown and was born on September 15, 2009.

Amanda Beard participated in swimming championships, among others on the 1996 Summer Olympics, 2000 Summer Olympics, 2004 Summer Olympics, and 2008 Summer Olympics, capturing a total of seven medals, the most recent on the 2004 games. Amanda Beard held the world number one ranking of 200 meter on 2003. In United State (U.S.) swimming competition, Amanda Beard won three 200 meter, three 100 meter, and two 200 meter individual medley United State (U.S.) National titles.

Amanda Beard’s modeling career has included appearances in FHM, and the 2006 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.

Amanda Beard is a spokeswoman for Defenders of Wildlife, and interior decorator. Both of her sisters, Leah and Taryn, are swimmers. Amanda Beard placed eighth in the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach Celebrity car race in 2006.

Amanda Beard on November 2007 made her first television commercial for GoDaddy entitled “Shock”. It featured her “flashing” the seven Olympic medals Amanda Beard won from 1996-2004. Mark Spitz made a cameo appearance.

Amanda Beard on April 2008 joined Fox Network’s popular sports talk program, The Best Damn Sports Show Period as a correspondent, covering major sporting events.

Amanda Beard on 2008 participated in an anti-fur campaign for the organization PETA. Amanda Beard was photographed in front of an American Flag. The flag in that photograph is hung incorrectly according the United States of America (U.S.A.) Flag Code with the blue field to the upper right.
